Dakota began growing up in a small state in the midwest of America, later moving to California. She has always loved traveling and has begun to habitually carry her camera around with her wherever she goes. After high school Dakota went a year abroad and decided to put her passion of photography first. Her passion started when she was sixteen and bought her first cheap film camera on amazon. After her year of traveling Dakota has decided to pursue her career behind the camera and is attending film school in Paris, France.
